Wyatt Andrew Jones, 28, Sentenced to 45 Years for Child Exploitation
HARRISBURG – Wyatt Andrew Jones, a 28-year-old man from York County, Pennsylvania, was sentenced to 45 years in prison for producing and distributing child pornography involving his infant daughter.
Jones pleaded guilty to the charges, which include production of images containing the sexual exploitation of a child and distribution of child pornography. He was also ordered to pay $36,000 in restitution to the victims of his offenses.
According to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, Jones began sexually abusing his infant daughter in January 2021, when she was just three days old. He continued the abuse until April 2021, when he was arrested on related local charges.
Jones produced numerous videos of the sexual abuse of his infant daughter and distributed them using the internet. The infant’s mother, Marisel Toro, also pleaded guilty to producing images containing the sexual exploitation of her infant daughter and is scheduled for sentencing on January 18, 2024.
This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse. The case was investigated by the York City Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and was prosecuted by former Assistant U.S. Attorney Paul J. Miovas and Assistant U.S. Attorney Bruce D. Brandler.
Jones is currently incarcerated at the York County Prison on related local charges. His sentence is a reminder of the severity of child exploitation crimes and the importance of holding perpetrators accountable for their actions.
Project Safe Childhood marshals federal, state, and local resources to locate, apprehend, and prosecute individuals who sexually exploit children, and to identify and rescue victims. For more information about Project Safe Childhood, please visit www.usdoj.gov/psc.
