Northumberland County Man Indicted on Child Pornography Charges
WILLIAMSPORT – Robert A. Kohl, a 48-year-old man from Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, has been indicted on charges of producing child pornography, according to a statement from the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
According to the indictment, Kohl allegedly produced child pornography four separate times between August 2021 and September 2022. The case was investigated by the Pennsylvania State Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Assistant United States Attorney Alisan V. Martin is prosecuting the case, which is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.

Kohl faces a maximum penalty of 30 years in prison, with a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years, a term of supervised release following imprisonment, and a fine. The case is a stark reminder of the importance of protecting our children from exploitation and abuse.
