A 44-year-old man from Lookout Mountain, TN, will spend the next 28 years behind bars for preying on a 14-year-old girl he met online. Patrick Bryant Hawley was sentenced on April 16, 2026, by Chief Judge Travis R. McDonough in the Eastern District of Tennessee.
Hawley’s twisted game began with online chats that quickly turned to sex. He convinced the young girl to send him explicit images and videos of herself, and even showed her bestiality and other minors in compromising positions.
‘No age is too young,’ Hawley told his victim, who initially balked at some of his demands but eventually caved under pressure.
When the victim refused to send him a video of herself using a sex toy, Hawley resorted to name-calling, telling her to ‘rape herself with it.’ The victim finally relented, sending him the disturbing content.
Hawley was ordered to pay $60,000 in restitution as part of his sentence. His supervised release will last 20 years, during which he’ll be required to register as a sex offender and comply with special conditions.
