A 30-year-old Eugene man, Anthony D’Montrez Crawford, turned a 17-year-old into a cash cow, selling her online for sex in Eugene and Springfield from July to August 2024.
Crawford and his wife posted ads and coordinated appointments through phone and text messages, while Crawford also took the teenager to Seattle twice for prostitution.
On March 5, 2026, Crawford was charged with sex trafficking a minor. He faces life in prison, a minimum of 10 years, a $250,000 fine, and five years of supervised release.
The case was investigated by the FBI and is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat child exploitation.
