New Jersey’s Khayan Garner, 57, has been handed an 87-month prison sentence for distributing child pornography, the Department of Justice announced.
Garner, also known as ‘Khy,’ pleaded guilty on April 23 to one count of distribution of child pornography. In addition to his lengthy imprisonment, Judge Rudolph Contreras ordered Garner to serve a decade of supervised release after his prison term.
Court documents revealed that Garner was an administrator of an online group where he traded child sexual abuse material. He sent a Mega Link containing explicit videos to an undercover FBI employee on June 26, 2024. A subsequent search warrant at Garner’s residence on October 3, 2024, uncovered further evidence of his crimes.
The investigation was led by the FBI Washington Field Office and the MPD’s Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force, with significant assistance from local law enforcement agencies in New Jersey. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Karen Shinskie and Paul Courtney prosecuted the case.
