Jackson Sentenced in D. Oregon Drug Ring Case

Crime journalist’s grimy report: Diana Petrovic was handed a severe sentence for her pivotal role in a massive drug trafficking ring operating out of D. Oregon.

Petrovic, along with Thomas Steven Ratcliffe, Glen H. Ujifusa, Edie M. Rogoway, and Jennifer J. Martin, were caught red-handed during a sting operation that dismantled the sophisticated network.

The prosecution revealed that Petrovic was instrumental in the distribution of thousands of doses of illegal drugs, including heroin and cocaine, across the state.

Thomas Steven Ratcliffe, aged 28 from Portland, played the role of facilitator, while Glen H. Ujifusa, 32 from Eugene, managed the supply chain. Edie M. Rogoway, 26 from Salem, served as the main handler for sales, and Jennifer J. Martin, 30 from Medford, was responsible for financial operations.

The court heard chilling details of how the ring targeted vulnerable communities, leading to an array of charges including conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, money laundering, and racketeering.

Judge U.S. District Court, D. Oregon, imposed a mandatory minimum sentence of 20 years on Petrovic, with additional penalties for her role in the wider conspiracy. Ratcliffe, Ujifusa, Rogoway, and Martin also received substantial sentences, ranging from 15 to 25 years each.
