Charles Eagle Pipe, a 42-year-old man from Little Eagle, South Dakota, has been indicted by a federal grand jury for two counts of Assaulting, Resisting, and Impeding a Federal Officer and Domestic Assault by an Habitual Offender.
According to the indictment, Eagle Pipe allegedly assaulted two different officers with the Bureau of Indian Affairs on March 29, 2015, and January 19, 2017, while the officers were performing their official duties. The indictment also alleges that on March 29, 2015, Eagle Pipe committed a domestic assault against his intimate partner, having been previously convicted of similar offenses on at least two separate occasions.
