Leonard Rushin-Felder, Heroin Distribution Conspiracy, PA 2024

GRIM NEWS: Two Pittsburgh residents have been indicted by a federal grand jury for their alleged roles in the sinister world of heroin distribution.

Acting United States Attorney Soo C. Song has announced that Leonard Rushin-Felder, 21, and Mark Ridley, 25, are facing serious charges for conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute heroin.

The indictment, returned on May 23rd, details a chilling conspiracy that began on April 25, 2017. Both men are accused of participating in the distribution ring, while Rushin-Felder is also charged with possessing a firearm during the drug trafficking crime.

Should they be found guilty, the duo could face devastating consequences. The law allows for sentences ranging from up to 20 years in prison to life imprisonment, along with fines as high as $1 million.

Assistant United States Attorney Timothy M. Lanni is leading the prosecution of this case on behalf of the government. The investigation was a collaborative effort between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police.
