According to court documents, Haider operated two fake Pakistan-based companies, Diamond TV World Productions and Multimedia Advertising Ltd., to smuggle Pakistani nationals into the US.
The scheme, which lasted from September 2019 to September 2023, involved Haider fraudulently obtaining visas for Pakistani nationals to travel to Ecuador, Cuba, and Colombia under the guise of legitimate business travel. However, their real destination was always the southern US border. Haider’s network then guided them to the US-Mexico border, where they illegally crossed into California, Texas, and Arizona. Each person was charged up to $40,000 for the service.
Haider’s operation was a complex web of deceit, with the Pakistani nationals posing as employees of his fake companies traveling to work on films. However, their true intention was to enter the US illegally. The scheme was uncovered, and Haider was extradited to the United States from Mexico in July 2025.
