Amy Lee Littledeer, a 37-year-old resident of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, has been sentenced to 60 months in prison for federal drug crime. The sentence was handed down by The Honorable Ronald A. White, Chief Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
The charges against Littledeer arose from investigations by the Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. On May 17, 2022, Littledeer pleaded guilty to one count of Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine.
On July 7, 2020, Sequoyah County Sheriff deputies executed a search warrant at Littledeer’s residence in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. During the search, they located three baggies containing a total mixture of methamphetamine weighing over 80 grams.
The methamphetamine was discovered as a result of a search warrant executed at Littledeer’s residence. The discovery was a significant blow to the local community, and the sentence handed down by Judge White is a reflection of the severity of the crime.
The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Littledeer was sentenced to 60 months in prison for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. The sentence will be served in a designated United States Bureau of Prisons facility.
Assistant United States Attorney Jordan Howanitz represented the United States in the case. The case is a reminder that the Eastern District of Oklahoma will continue to prosecute individuals who engage in federal drug crimes to the fullest extent of the law.
Amy Lee Littledeer, whose age was not reported, has been taken into custody of the U.S. Marshal pending transportation to a designated United States Bureau of Prisons facility to serve a non-paroleable sentence of incarceration of 60 months.
