Two Trinitarios gang members are facing federal charges for a hail of gunfire that left two people wounded outside a Bronx restaurant in February.
Alejandro Colon, 23, and Oscar Olivencia, 22, allegedly shot at multiple people on February 7, 2023, in the Tremont neighborhood, seriously injuring two victims.
The A-Town set of the Trinitarios street gang has been linked to a string of violent incidents in the Bronx, including the brazen shooting that sparked this investigation.
Colon and Olivencia were arrested in a coordinated operation, with Colon taken into custody last night and Olivencia arrested this morning.
They’ll face a federal judge later today, charged with racketeering conspiracy, attempted murder, assault with a dangerous weapon, and firearms offenses.
