A 24-year-old Norfolk woman has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for her role in a fentanyl trafficking operation that left a victim seriously injured.

Alexzandra Blanco was sentenced on May 14, 2025, in federal court in Omaha, Nebraska, for conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute fentanyl resulting in serious bodily injury and conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute fentanyl. United States District Judge Brian C. Buescher handed down the 240-month sentence.

The case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration Overdose Drug Task Force, which is comprised of law enforcement from the Drug Enforcement Administration, Omaha Police Department, Nebraska State Patrol, and Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
