Daqwon Graham, Fentanyl Trafficking, Connecticut 2025

ANSONIA, CT – DAQWON GRAHAM, the local drug kingpin known as ‘Seagull’ and ‘Energy,’ has copped to a guilty plea in federal court for his role in the deadly fentanyl trade. The 31-year-old Ansonia native now faces at least a decade behind bars after being tied to multiple overdose deaths.

According to U.S. Attorney David X. Sullivan, Graham was identified by the DEA Bridgeport HIDTA Task Force and Stamford Police as a significant player in the fentanyl distribution network operating in Fairfield County. His arrest in February 2025, following an investigation that linked him to two fatal overdoses, resulted in the seizure of over 400 grams of the lethal substance.

Investigators conducted multiple controlled buys from Graham between January and February 2025. The court documents paint a picture of a man who was not only distributing but also contributing to the skyrocketing rate of overdose deaths in the region. Graham’s sentencing is set for October 16, where he could be staring down a life sentence.

The HIDTA Task Force, which includes personnel from various local and state law enforcement agencies, has been relentless in their pursuit of drug traffickers like Graham. Assistant U.S. Attorney Lauren C. Clark will be handling the prosecution of this high-profile case.

Since his arrest, Graham has remained detained. His guilty plea marks a significant victory for the DEA and the community alike, who have been tirelessly fighting the tide of fentanyl-related deaths.

This case serves as a stark reminder of the dangers posed by illegal drug trafficking and the ongoing battle against the opioid epidemic that continues to devastate families across the nation.
