Bangor Man Sentenced for Crack Distribution
A Bangor man has been sentenced to three years in prison for distributing crack, a highly addictive and destructive substance. Antonio Gordon, 32, of Bangor, was found guilty of distributing a total of 19 grams of cocaine base, commonly known as “crack,” over the course of three transactions between December 2014 and January 2015.
According to court records, Gordon sold the crack to a person cooperating with federal and state law enforcement authorities in Bangor. The case was investigated by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency.
Gordon will serve three years in prison and three years of supervised release following his incarceration. This sentence serves as a reminder of the serious consequences of distributing crack and other illicit substances.
