United States Attorney Trent Shores dropped a bombshell today as he announced the results of the June 2019 Federal Grand Jury A. The grim revelations included serious charges against Jonathan Michael Baker, 40, from Salem, West Virginia.
Baker is facing a litany of charges including coercion and enticement of a minor, distribution of child pornography, and attempted receipt of child porn. The 40-year-old allegedly used social media to lure an underage victim into sexual activity. He’s also charged with distributing visual depictions of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct and attempting to receive such depictions. The Bristow Police Department is leading the investigation.
Another shocking case involves Steven Ronald Belcher, 30, and Alisa Maria Belcher, 30, both from Princeton, West Virginia. They are charged with felon in possession of a firearm, transportation of a stolen firearm, and pledges as security for a loan. The couple transported a stolen Springfield Armory 9 x 19 caliber pistol across state lines to Oklahoma. The Mayes County Sheriff’s Office and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are on the case.
Berry Allen Leerdam is facing charges of felon in possession of firearms. The 58-year-old from St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, is accused of being a felon in possession of a Taurus .357 magnum caliber pistol frame and a Taurus .9 mm semiautomatic pistol frame. Both the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Department of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration’s Federal Air Marshals are involved.
Jana Renee Parrish, 42, is charged with attempted bank robbery in Tulsa. The FBI and Tulsa Police Department are investigating her attempt to rob a Bank of America branch using force and intimidation.
Ricardo Perez-Rocha, 42, of Bakersfield, California, is accused of conspiring to possess with intent to distribute and to distribute at least 500 grams of methamphetamine. The Drug Enforcement Administration is leading the investigation on this drug conspiracy case.
