Joshua Shore, a 41-year-old man from Woodinville, Washington, allegedly stole $440,000 from two financial institutions where he worked as a manager. The thefts occurred between July 2019 and December 2025, with Shore using his position to access large sums of cash. He then laundered the money through other banks, making repeated deposits of thousands of dollars into ATMs.
Shore’s scheme involved stealing approximately $40,000 on December 6, 2021, and an additional $100,000 on January 28, 2022, while working as an operations manager of the cash vault for a nationwide bank in Tukwila, Washington. He then made repeated $3,000 cash deposits into ATMs to launder the stolen funds.
Later, while working as a Market Manager at a financial institution in Renton, Shore allegedly stole $300,000 from the vault on the eve of a bank holiday. He then deposited the cash into his personal bank account via ATMs, up to $10,000 at a time.
The indictment against Shore seeks to forfeit any money seized from him as part of the investigation. He has been indicted for 30 federal felonies related to the theft and money laundering scheme.
