Heidi Langevin, Fentanyl Trafficking, New Hampshire 2023

CONCORD – Heidi Langevin, the 44-year-old Belmont resident, has been hit with a 60-month prison sentence for her role in a fentanyl trafficking conspiracy. The United States Attorney Scott W. Murray announced the tough penalty, highlighting Langevin’s sale of dangerous drugs to an FBI informant.

Law enforcement officials revealed that Langevin sold both fentanyl and methamphetamine twice to an undercover source. On May 31, 2017, she orchestrated a trip from Belmont to Lawrence, Massachusetts, where the men met with a drug supplier. A traffic stop on their return by New Hampshire State Police resulted in the seizure of over 111 grams of fentanyl.

Langevin’s guilty plea came on October 30, 2018, marking her involvement in the deadly scheme. U.S. Attorney Murray emphasized that the five-year sentence serves as a stark warning to those involved in interstate drug trafficking, stating, ‘Federal prison sentences await those who get caught.’

Joseph R. Bonavolonta, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Boston Division, echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the partnership between law enforcement agencies in dismantling drug trafficking organizations and protecting community safety.

This investigation was a collaborative effort by the FBI, New Hampshire State Police, and Laconia Police Department, while Assistant U.S. Attorney Anna Z. Krasinski handled the prosecution.
