New Orleans, LA – A ruthless drug kingpin from Bogalusa has been handed a stiff sentence for his relentless drug dealing operations. Henry Jermaine Miller, 41, was sentenced to 75 months imprisonment followed by three years of supervised release and a $100 special assessment fee, following his conviction on July 17, 2025.
Miller faced charges of possession with intent to distribute heroin and methamphetamine, in violation of Title 21, United States Code, Sections 841(a)(1) and 841(b)(1)(C). The court documents revealed that Miller’s reign of terror began in 2021 and persisted until 2023.
According to the prosecution, Miller conspired with several individuals in the Bogalusa area to distribute and possess significant quantities of drugs. His illegal activities included the distribution of methamphetamine, heroin, and fentanyl, which pose a severe threat to public safety.
In a statement, Acting United States Attorney Michael M. Simpson praised the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Bogalusa Police Department for their relentless pursuit of justice in this case. Assistant United States Attorney Stuart Theriot, leading the Narcotics Unit, was commended for his diligent efforts in bringing Miller to justice.
Miller’s sentence sends a powerful message to those who engage in drug trafficking. The harsh penalties reflect the government’s commitment to cracking down on organized crime and protecting communities from dangerous drugs.
This case is yet another example of the ongoing battle against drug-related crimes. As law enforcement agencies continue their efforts, they urge the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity related to drug trafficking.
