Cocaine Possession Lands Carnegie Man Behind Bars
JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – In a move that sends a clear message to those involved in the illicit drug trade, a resident of Carnegie, Pennsylvania, has been sentenced in federal court to three months in prison and three years supervised release on his conviction of possession of cocaine.
According to information presented to the court, on Jan. 26, 2012, Brian J. Wimbley, 43, possessed less than 500 grams of cocaine with the intent to distribute it.
United States District Judge Kim R. Gibson imposed the sentence on Wimbley, bringing an end to a lengthy investigation that was led by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Cambria County Drug Task Force.
Assistant United States Attorney John J. Valkovci, Jr., prosecuted this case on behalf of the government, working tirelessly to ensure that justice was served.
