Felipe Jonet-Branco, the 31-year-old owner of Brockton clothing store Banks & Brancos, has pleaded guilty to drug trafficking and firearm charges. The guilty plea comes after a search of his store on February 4, 2026, uncovered a stash of 10 firearms, over 35 pounds of marijuana, 200 grams of psilocin mushrooms, and $40,000 in cash. The search was part of a larger investigation into the Brockton-based Harvard Street Gang, which Jonet-Branco is allegedly associated with.
The search of Banks & Brancos revealed a hidden drawer underneath the store’s front counter, containing eight firearms, large-capacity magazines, and empty bottles of promethazine with codeine. A large-caliber rifle and a Glock handgun equipped with a machine gun conversion device were among the seized guns. Jonet-Branco, a convicted felon, is prohibited from possessing firearms due to a prior conviction for felony battery in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
Jonet-Branco’s guilty plea includes one count of possession with intent to distribute controlled substances and 10 counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm. He faces up to 20 years in prison for the drug trafficking charge and up to 15 years for the firearm charges. His sentencing is scheduled for November 2, 2026.
The investigation into the Harvard Street Gang and Jonet-Branco’s involvement was led by federal authorities, including the FBI and ATF. The case highlights the ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking and gang activity in Massachusetts.
