A 43-year-old Bunch, Oklahoma man is facing the music for stockpiling guns like there’s no tomorrow. James Michael Young Jr. was sentenced to two years of probation for illegally possessing 244 firearms and 40 rounds of ammunition.
The feds say Young knew he was breaking the law, given his prior conviction for a crime that carries more than a year in the slammer.
On October 29, 2024, ATF investigators found Young’s stash of guns and ammo, and he later pleaded guilty to the charge in federal court on October 1, 2025.
Young’s case is a stark reminder that felons can’t simply disregard the law and keep guns, no matter what their intentions are.
