An Oklahoma City man, Naim Bilal Evans, 38, just got a sweet deal from Judge Patrick R. Wyrick – 96 months in the slammer for illegally rocking a firearm.
On April 19, 2025, police responded to a convenience store in the metro after getting reports of a dude with a gun. They showed up to find Evans kicking the door while packing an AR-15. Cops found the firearm in a nearby trash can.
Evans had a prior felony conviction in Oklahoma County District Court – pointing a firearm in 2008 and being a felon in possession of a firearm in 2018. Sounds like a real stand-up guy.
The feds charged Evans on May 20, 2025. He copped a plea on August 29, 2025. Assistant U.S. Attorney Daniel Gridley led the prosecution. The ATF and Oklahoma City Police Department investigated.
