Nariah Demournay Jones, 23, of Moore, Oklahoma, was involved in a violent burglary in Indian Country, specifically in Seminole County within the Seminole Nation Reservation. On April 2, 2024, Jones and two co-defendants, Demontrae Davion Rogers and Damarion Hiawatha Nichols, forcibly entered a detached residential garage in Wewoka, intending to commit a felony. The burglary turned violent when Rogers and Nichols held four individuals at gunpoint and struck one with their weapons, causing injuries.
The investigation was led by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Seminole Nation Lighthorse Police, and the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office. Jones pleaded guilty to one count of Burglary in the Second Degree in Indian Country on March 18, 2026.
Jones’s co-defendants also received prison sentences for their roles in the crime. Demontrae Davion Rogers was sentenced to 21 months for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon with Intent to do Bodily Harm, 84 months for Use, Carry, and Brandish of a Firearm, and 12 months for Possession of a Firearm with an Obliterated Serial Number. Damarion Hiawatha Nichols received a 46-month sentence for four counts of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon with Intent to do Bodily Harm.
Jones was sentenced to 10 months in prison by Senior Judge Ronald A. White in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma. Jones is set to self-report to a designated United States Bureau of Prisons facility on August 10, 2026, to serve a non-paroleable sentence.
