CLEVELAND – Christopher M. Callaway, 41, of West Farmington, Ohio, was sentenced to 50 years in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Patricia A. Gaughan for his brutal exploitation of children and possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Callaway pleaded guilty in March to six counts, including sexually exploiting children, receipt and distribution of minors engaged in sexually explicit content, and possession of CSAM. The sentence was handed down on July 1, with an additional order to pay $40,000 to the Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act.
According to court documents, Callaway groomed his victims from 2015 to 2022, primarily targeting girls aged 10 to 17. He lured them through social media platforms like KIK, Snapchat, and Facebook, often joining ‘daddy-daughter’ online groups. Using emotional manipulation and gifts, he coerced the minors into sending nude images and videos of themselves.
The defendant further sent sex toys, lingerie, and other items to victims, directing their use for his own pornographic purposes. He also shared explicit photos and videos of himself with them. Over 40 minors were found to be victims of Callaway’s production of CSAM, with 21 identified in the case.
Callaway traveled across the country, including Virginia and Florida, to rape victims and record his crimes. One victim was from New Zealand. He also brought some minors to Ohio, where he attempted to live with them. During a search of his residence, federal agents discovered over 20,000 images and videos of CSAM on electronic devices.
This investigation was conducted by the FBI Cleveland Division in partnership with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office Bureau of Criminal Investigation. Assistant United States Attorney Jennifer J.
