Meth Dealer Sentenced to 122 Months Imprisonment in Alabama
A 38-year-old man from Daphne, Alabama, has been sentenced to 122 months imprisonment for his involvement in a methamphetamine trafficking ring.
On May 2015, Calvin James Monceaux, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
The case was investigated by the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Homeland Security Investigations.
Assistant United States Attorney Gloria Bedwell prosecuted the case in the United States Attorney’s Office.
United States District Court Judge Callie V. S. Granade ordered Monceaux to serve 122 months imprisonment, followed by a five-year term of supervised release. He will undergo drug testing and treatment as a special condition of his supervision.
Monceaux was also ordered to pay $100 in special mandatory assessments, but was not imposed a fine.
The sentencing hearing took place in federal court, where Monceaux will serve his prison time.
