Vitter to time served and one year of supervised release, as well as payment of a $100 mandatory special assessment fee.

The initiative streamlines efforts and resources from the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETFs) and Project Safe Neighborhood (PSN).
Acting U.S. Attorney Michael M. Simpson praised the work of Immigration and Customs Enforcement in investigating this matter. Assistant United States Attorney Paul J. Hubbell oversaw the prosecution.
