Chris Bour Charged with Child Pornography in Indiana

A disturbing case of child exploitation has come to light in Hammond, Indiana. Chris Bour, a 39-year-old resident of Gary, has been indicted for his alleged involvement in the production, purchase, and possession of child pornography.

According to the indictment, Bour is charged with one count of purchasing a child for the production of child pornography, one count of producing child pornography, and one count of possessing child pornography featuring a minor under the age of 12. These charges were filed as a result of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Indiana State Police, the Gary Police Department, and the Michigan City Police Department.

Bour’s co-defendant, Natisha Hillard, 24, of Gary, Indiana, has also been charged with one count of selling a child by a parent for the production of child pornography and one count of permitting a child by a parent to participate in the production of child pornography.

The case has been assigned to Assistant United States Attorney Jill Koster, who will prosecute the charges. The indictment serves as a reminder of the seriousness of child exploitation and the importance of bringing perpetrators to justice.

The United States Attorney’s Office emphasized that an indictment is merely an allegation and that all persons charged are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in court.
