Christopher Lamar Baker, Methamphetamine Distribution, North Carolina 2024

WILMINGTON, N.C. – Christopher Lamar Baker, 49, a Raleigh-based national leader of the Pagans Motorcycle Club, was today sentenced to 900 months in prison for methamphetamine distribution, firearm distribution, and money laundering convictions. The jury convicted Baker on 17 counts, including conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of firearms in furtherance of drug trafficking crimes, and conspiracy to commit money laundering.

Baker, a ’13’ in the Pagans Motorcycle Club, was among the top national leaders before his November 2021 arrest by ATF. This case is part of an ongoing operation resulting in the indictment of 20 individuals. U.S. Attorney Michael Easley emphasized that such sentences serve as a warning to criminal enterprises.

According to court documents, Baker supplied over 268 kilograms of methamphetamine into the Raleigh area and surrounding states. Raleigh Police Chief Estella Patterson praised federal partnerships in removing this dangerous individual from the streets and vowed to continue making Raleigh safer.

Bennie Mims, ATF Special Agent in Charge, highlighted the collaboration in disrupting a violent criminal network tied to the PMC, an international Outlaw Motorcycle Gang known for drug trafficking and firearms trafficking. Baker was responsible for kilogram quantities of methamphetamine for the DTO linked to the PMC.

Christopher Lamar Baker’s sentence underscores the commitment of law enforcement to tackle organized crime and drug epidemics, making communities safer across the nation.
