Arzalea Teshean McLaughlin, 37, Benjamin Eugene Mack, 54, and Roger Cornell Daniels, 38, all of Crestview, Florida, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine and cocaine base. The trio’s crimes took place between 2023 and 2025, with McLaughlin obtaining cocaine for sale through Daniels and using multiple locations in Okaloosa County to store and distribute drugs.

The investigation led to the seizure of nearly three-quarters of a kilogram of cocaine from Mack’s residence and almost one-quarter of a kilogram of cocaine from Daniel’s residence. The guilty pleas are the result of coordinated efforts by state and federal law enforcement partners.

McLaughlin, Mack, and Daniels face significant prison time, with McLaughlin and Mack facing a minimum mandatory of 10 years up to life in prison, and Daniels facing a minimum mandatory of 5 years’ up to a total of 74 years’ imprisonment. Sentencing is set for later this year, with McLaughlin’s sentencing scheduled for September 24, Mack’s for October 15, and Daniels’ for November 4.

The guilty pleas mark a significant victory for law enforcement in the Northern District of Florida, with U.S. Attorney John P. Heekin stating that the prosecution is taking back the streets from drug traffickers to deliver safe, drug-free communities.
