Colorado Man Convicted of Methamphetamine Conspiracy
A Nunn, Colorado resident has been found guilty of conspiring to possess and distribute methamphetamine in federal court.
David Puhl, 38, was charged with violating 21 U.S.C. § 846 and 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1) and (b)(1)(B) in an indictment on May 21, 2014. A five-day jury trial in the U.S. District Court in Cheyenne found Puhl guilty.
The investigation into this case was led by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation.
The charges against Puhl stem from his alleged involvement in a conspiracy to possess and distribute methamphetamine. Puhl is scheduled to be sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson on December 1, 2014.
Convictions for conspiracy to possess and distribute methamphetamine can carry significant penalties, including lengthy prison sentences and substantial fines.
