Craig Killmeyer Sentenced to 5 Years for Distributing Child Pornography
HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania – In a shocking turn of events, Craig Killmeyer, a 56-year-old resident of Greencastle, Pennsylvania, has been sentenced to five years in prison for receiving and distributing child pornography.
According to Acting United States Attorney Bruce D. Brandler, Killmeyer admitted to receiving and distributing images of child pornography between December 2017 and December 2018 using Kik Messenger. The heinous crimes were uncovered by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
Assistant U.S. Attorney Carlo D. Marchioli and former Assistant U.S. Attorney James T. Clancy prosecuted the case, ensuring that Killmeyer faces justice for his reprehensible actions.
As part of the sentence, Killmeyer will also serve ten years of supervised release after his prison term is completed. This severe sentence is a testament to the seriousness of the crimes committed and the dedication of law enforcement agencies to protecting the most vulnerable members of society.
