Dain Justin Adams, Child Pornography, New Mexico 2020

A Roswell man has been sentenced to 110 years in prison for his involvement in a child pornography ring.

Dain Justin Adams, 41, was found guilty on January 28, 2020, of possession of child pornography, conspiracy to produce child pornography, receipt of child pornography, and two counts of distribution of child pornography.

According to a superseding indictment, Adams was charged on December 17, 2019, and a review of his cell phone revealed conversations with Jade Tiffany Laurezo, 38, through the Viber app, which they used to exchange child pornography.

The jury found that Adams possessed and had access to images and videos of children engaged in sexual conduct, that he conspired with others to entice and coerce children to engage in sexual conduct to produce child pornography, that he knowingly received child pornography, and that he distributed child pornography to others.

Adams will be subject to 10 years of supervised release and must register as a sex offender upon his release from prison.

The case was investigated by the Roswell Resident Agency of the FBI Albuquerque Field Office, the New Mexico Office of the Attorney General, and the Chavez County Sheriff’s Department with assistance from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Assistant United States Attorney Marisa A. Ong prosecuted the case as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.
