Crack Cocaine Distribution Lands Johnstown Man Behind Bars
In a federal court in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, 52-year-old Damian Jeffers of Johnstown, PA, has been sentenced to a total of 15 months in prison followed by 3 years of supervised release on his conviction of distributing crack-cocaine, Acting United States Attorney Troy Rivetti announced today.
Senior United States District Judge Kim R. Gibson imposed the sentence on Jeffers, according to information presented to the court. The investigation revealed that on or about October 4, 2021, October 20, 2021, and October 28, 2021, Jeffers was found to distribute less than 28 grams of a mixture and substance containing a detectable amount of cocaine base, in the form commonly known as crack.
Assistant United States Attorney Maureen Sheehan-Balchon prosecuted this case on behalf of the government. Mr. Rivetti commended the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Cambria County Drug Task Force, and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force for the investigation that led to the successful prosecution of Jeffers.
According to court documents, Jeffers’ crimes were committed in the Cambria County area. The investigation was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Cambria County Drug Task Force, and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force. The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Maureen Sheehan-Balchon.
