A District of Columbia man, Antonio Simpson, 31, has been charged with sexually abusing two minor children, aged 8 and 9, over a period of more than a year, starting in April 2025. The abuse occurred in Washington DC, where Simpson resides. Simpson allegedly video recorded multiple acts of sexual abuse, including placing his penis in the victims’ mouths and touching their genitals. He was arrested on July 21, 2026, and remains detained.
The charges against Simpson include production of child pornography and first-degree child sexual abuse, totaling 12 counts. The case is being investigated by the FBI’s Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Rachel Bohlen.
This case is part of the Department of Justice’s Project Safe Childhood initiative, which aims to protect children from online exploitation and abuse. The initiative was launched in February 2006 and marshals federal, state, and local resources to locate, apprehend, and prosecute individuals who exploit children via the Internet.
Simpson’s arrest and charges demonstrate the efforts of law enforcement agencies to combat child sex abuse and exploitation. The FBI and DOJ are working together to bring perpetrators to justice and to protect vulnerable children.
