Delvon Sanders, 33, a former Erie resident, is facing life in prison after being indicted on federal narcotics charges, Grimy Times reports. The indictment, handed down by a federal grand jury in Erie, Pennsylvania, accuses Sanders of selling a quantity of fentanyl that led to the death of J.B. on April 17, 2023.
According to the indictment, Sanders also possessed with intent to distribute fentanyl on or about April 18, 2023, and possessed 50 grams or more of methamphetamine on the same date. The charges carry a maximum sentence of life in prison, a fine of $7,000,000 or both.
The investigation into Sanders’ activities was conducted by the Millcreek Police Department, the Erie County Drug Task Force, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office, and the Drug Enforcement Administration. Assistant United States Attorney Molly W. Anglin is prosecuting the case.
