Dennie Stell, Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, South Dakota 2016

A Winner, South Dakota man has been sentenced to six months in custody for failing to register as a sex offender. Dennie Stell, 57, was convicted of Failure to Register as a Sex Offender after he failed to update his sex offender registration between September 1, 2014, and May 19, 2015.

According to court records, Stell was required to register due to his conviction in 1997 in Arkansas for Violation of a Minor. Despite knowing he was required to register his new address in Winner, Stell failed to do so.
