Detroit Man Sentenced for Methamphetamine Distribution in West Virginia
Clarkburg, West Virginia – Derek David Henderson, a 42-year-old man from Detroit, Michigan, has been sentenced to 60 months of incarceration for his role in a drug trafficking conspiracy, announced United States Attorney William Ihlenfeld.
Henderson pleaded guilty in March 2022 to one count of ‘Distribution of Five Grams or More of Methamphetamine.’ In his guilty plea, Henderson admitted to working with another individual to sell more than five grams of methamphetamine in May 2019.
The investigation into Henderson’s activities was carried out by the Three Rivers Drug Task Force and the Fairmont Police Department, with the assistance of Assistant U.S. Attorney Brandon S. Flower, who prosecuted the case on behalf of the government.
