Jurel Daquone Leo Bowman, a 32-year-old former emergency medical technician from Lusby, Maryland, has been indicted on child sex crimes. Between August 2022 and April 2026, Bowman allegedly used his cellphone and an online social media application to sexually exploit minors in Harford County. He paid hundreds of dollars for explicit images and videos and attempted to coerce minors into meeting him for sex acts in exchange for money.
Bowman is charged with producing child sexual abuse material, coercion and enticement of a minor, receipt of CSAM, and possession of CSAM. The indictment is part of a joint investigation by the FBI, Maryland State Police, Upper Allen Police Department, and Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
Investigators believe there may be other potential victims and are urging anyone with information to contact the FBI Baltimore Field Office. This case is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched by the Department of Justice to combat child sexual exploitation and abuse.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland announced the indictment, which was led by U.S. Attorney Kelly O. Hayes. The case highlights the importance of reporting suspicious activity and protecting minors from online predators.
