Felons Frye, White Stash Firearms in Dope Hole, Do Time
WASHINGTON – Leroy Frye, 32, of Waldorf, Md., and Francis White, 28, of Washington, D.C., are going to prison for their roles in a firearms possession conspiracy that put lives at risk in the nation’s capital.
The two previously convicted felons were sentenced today to 60 months in prison and 46 months in prison, respectively, on charges of possessing firearms inside a known stash house, a trap house operated by members of the ‘No Rats Allowed’ (NRA) crew.
According to court documents, the guilty pleas stemmed from a residential search warrant executed on November 3, 2021, at 215 K Street, Southwest, a notorious ‘Dope Hole’ used by the NRA crew to stash their narcotics and firearms.
During the search, law enforcement found 457 blue pills containing fentanyl (approximately 48.6 grams), 37 grams of crack-cocaine, and approximately 980 grams of suspected marijuana. The NRA crew is known for distributing thousands of counterfeit prescription pills laced with fentanyl and possessing firearms as part of their distribution schemes.
The same kitchen drawer where the drugs were found also yielded four firearms, including a high-capacity FN FNS.40 caliber semi-automatic pistol and a Glock 17 9mm semi-automatic pistol, both of which were admitted to by Frye and White, respectively.
Law enforcement also seized a modified pistol with a ‘giggle switch,’ a device that converted the firearm to function as a fully automatic machine gun, which was linked to co-defendant Bartwone Copeland, who was sentenced to 144 months in prison in May 2024.
This case was investigated by the Metropolitan Police Department and the FBI’s Violent Crime Task Force, and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Justin F. Song and Joshua Gold.
The NRA crew’s reckless disregard for human life has put countless individuals at risk, and it’s only through the tireless efforts of law enforcement that these felons will be held accountable for their actions.
The sentences handed down today are a testament to the Department of Justice’s commitment to combating the scourge of firearms possession and narcotics trafficking in our communities.
Frye and White will serve their time, but the impact of their actions will be felt for years to come.
