Ya Hance Pierre Boston, a 33-year-old from Oviedo, walked into a pawnshop in Orlando on December 30, 2024, with a stolen Glock 9mm pistol hidden in his sweater. As a multi-time convicted felon, Boston was prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition under federal law. He pleaded guilty on March 30, 2026, and has now been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison. Boston’s sentence will begin after he serves his current state sentence.
