NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA – Rashuad Fontenberry, a 33-year-old former resident of New Orleans, has been found guilty for carjacking, in a case that unfolded at a local gas station. The crime, which occurred on September 5, 2022, led to a tense confrontation with the victim and her possessions being taken by force.
Fontenberry pled guilty before United States District Judge Brandon S. Long on August 19, 2025, for violating Title 18 U.S.C. Section 2119.
