Terrell Myron Foy, Minor Enticement Attempt, Florida 2025

ORLANDO, FL – A former middle school employee has been handed a 14-year federal prison sentence for attempting to entice a minor into sexual activity. Terrell Myron Foy, 33, from Winter Park, faced the court’s stern judgment after pleading guilty on April 24, 2025.

Foy was employed at an Orlando middle school when he allegedly established a romantic relationship with a 13-year-old student in December 2023. His sinister intentions were uncovered after the Orlando Police Department (OPD) received a ‘Speak Out’ complaint in January 2024, prompting an immediate investigation.

During their probe, OPD and the Federal Bureau of Investigation secured warrants for Foy’s home, cellphone, and numerous social media accounts. The investigation revealed hundreds of messages where Foy was actively enticing the student to engage in sexual acts, offering gifts, and arranging meetings on and off school property. Furthermore, messages were found indicating Foy instructed the student to avoid speaking with law enforcement.

This disturbing case has been prosecuted under Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative aimed at combating child sexual exploitation and abuse. The Department of Justice launched this initiative in May 2006 to mobilize federal, state, and local resources in the fight against such predatory behavior.

Assistant United States Attorney Michael Sartoian led the prosecution of Foy, who was investigated by both the FBI and OPD. For more information on Project Safe Childhood, visit www.justice.gov/psc.

Foy was also ordered to forfeit his cellphone, which played a pivotal role in the charged conduct. This sentence sends a chilling message to predators targeting children in our communities.
