Fort Wayne Man Sentenced for Cocaine Conspiracy

A Fort Wayne man has been sentenced to 120 months imprisonment for his role in a cocaine conspiracy.

Marco A. Garcia, 31, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, pleaded guilty to the charge of conspiracy to distribute cocaine and was sentenced by Chief Judge Theresa L. Springmann.

According to documents in the case, Garcia was part of a conspiracy to distribute cocaine from January 2015 to July 2016.

The case was investigated by the FBI’s Safe Streets and Gang Task Force, which includes the FBI, the Indiana State Police, the Allen County Sheriff’s Department, and the Fort Wayne Police Department, with assistance from the DEA, IRS, and the Allen County Drug Task Force.

Assistant U.S. Attorneys Anthony W. Geller and Stacey Speith prosecuted the case.

Garcia was also sentenced to 5 years of supervised release following his imprisonment.

The sentencing of Garcia marks the end of a significant investigation into cocaine trafficking in the Fort Wayne area.
