Mark Lewis Cobb, a 39-year-old felon from St. Albans, West Virginia, possessed a 9mm pistol on January 1, 2026, despite knowing he was prohibited from owning a firearm due to a prior felony conviction. Cobb’s prior conviction was for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine in 2017. He was on supervised release at the time of the current offense.
Cobb pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm in federal court. His guilty plea is the result of an investigation by the St. Albans Police Department.
