Oklahoma City Man Charged with Child Pornography

Gustavo Gordillo, a 41-year-old Guatemalan national, has been charged with a serious crime that threatens the safety of our community’s most vulnerable members.

A federal complaint has been unsealed charging Gustavo Gordillo with transportation, distribution, and possession of child pornography, announced U.S. Attorney Robert J. Troester. According to the complaint, Gordillo provided and received child sexual abuse material (CSAM) with a child living out of state.

The investigation began in July 2020 when investigators with the Oklahoma City Police Department (OCPD) received a cyber tip about files containing CSAM being uploaded to a Google Photos account. OCPD detectives learned that Gordillo lived in Oklahoma City and had communicated with the child.

Public records show that Gordillo had entered the United States on a temporary visa that had expired. If found guilty as charged, Gordillo faces up to sixty years in federal prison.

This case is the result of an investigation by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the OCPD. Assistant U.S. Attorney Tiffany Edgmon is prosecuting the case.

The public is reminded that these charges are merely allegations, and Gordillo is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

Gordillo was charged by Complaint on January 27, 2025, and was arrested by HSI and OCPD on January 29, 2025.
