PHILADELPHIA – In a major crackdown on illegal immigration, four men were sentenced this week for illegally reentering the United States after prior deportations. The sentences handed down by federal judges ranged from time served to eight months in prison.
Kevin Emmanuel Rodriguez-Martinez, 32, faced just over two months behind bars and will be removed again from the country. Removed twice previously in 2011 and 2012, Rodriguez-Martinez returned unlawfully and was captured in Allentown this year.
Osman Guevara-Guevara, 35, received time served after being deported to Honduras in 2012. He returned in March 2013 and was removed again the same month before illegal reentry a third time led to his capture in Pennsylvania in June.
Jorge Miles, 30, faced eight months for illegally reentering the U.S. following removal in 2014. An ICE arrest followed in February of this year, leading to an indictment and guilty plea.
Yobani Bonilla-Bonilla, also known as Gilberto Perez Alvarado, 40, will be removed after serving time served for illegal reentry. Removed in 2015, he was caught again in Pennsylvania and pleaded guilty this week.
The sentences are part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative to combat illegal immigration, eliminate cartels, and protect communities from violent crime.
