Jacksonville Man Indicted for Sex Trafficking

A 39-year-old Jacksonville man has been charged with promoting, managing, establishing, and carrying on a prostitution business, according to a federal indictment unsealed this week.

John R. Biggerstaff is accused of using a cellphone to commit the offenses between June 30, 2016 and July 31, 2016, in violation of applicable Florida laws. If convicted on all counts, he faces a maximum penalty of five years in federal prison.
