A disturbing case of a firearm crime has come to light in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma. James Timothy Mathis, 41, of Muldrow, Oklahoma, pleaded guilty to one count of Felon in Possession of Firearm.

The Indictment alleged that on March 4, 2023, Mathis was found in possession of a .38 SPL caliber Smith & Wesson Bodyguard Airweight revolver.
