Jeffrey Schmutzler, 42, Arrested for Alleged Child Exploitation

A Chambersburg Area School District teacher has been arrested on charges of distributing and receiving material involving the sexual exploitation of minors, federal authorities announced today.

Jeffrey Schmutzler, 42, of Fayetteville, Pennsylvania, was taken into custody today on allegations outlined in a criminal complaint filed in federal court.

Schmutzler is scheduled to appear before Chief Magistrate Judge Martin C. Carlson at 4:00 pm today in the federal courthouse in Harrisburg.
