Bank Robber Charged in Indiana
Jeremy David Evans, 31, of Glendale Heights, Illinois, has been charged with the bank robbery of TCF Bank in Munster, Indiana and Fifth Third Bank in Hammond, Indiana on August 8, 2012.
According to the United States Attorney’s Office, Evans was charged with bank robbery, a federal offense. The charges were filed as the result of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
The case has been assigned to and will be prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney David Nozick.
Evans, if found guilty, could face severe penalties, including imprisonment and fines. The exact sentence or outcome has not been determined yet.
